Inflammatory Retinal Detachment

ABSTRACT

Episode of uveitis with unknown etiology developed fibrovascular tumor treated with criotherapy. Hemovitreous 2 + developed with self-resolution within the following 30 days.
A temporal epiretinal membrane appeared. Observation was decided as many of them release spontaneously with PVD. The membrane developed quick contraction within weeks. Traccional retinal detachment associated with two little holes at the border of the criotherapy scar developed. Vitrectomy and scleral band was the treatment of choice in this case. Inflamatory pathological membranes required close observation and they contracts quick and strong.
