During vitrectomy the vitreous cutter may removed and a blunt needle is inserted to inject substances in the vitreous cavity such as triamcinolone, or PCFL. In our technique, the aspiration tube was disconnected from the vitrector and triamcinolone or PFCL  was injected through this entry via a syringe. Consequently, the aspiration tube of the vitreous cutter was connected again and the vitrectomy was continued.
