84.2% of patients with Type 1 Occult Membrane based on Spectral Domain OCT and IVFA have CNV noted on OCT Angiography.35.1% of these patients have the Pachychoroid Spectrum of Disease based on thickened choroid, pachyvessels, and ICG leakage. 50.1% of patients with CNV on OCT Angiography have a thickened chooid. The presence of CNV on OCT Angiography determines the type of treatment that is applied. If CNV is not present, half-fluence PDT treatment of leakage sites is the primary treatment. However, if CNV is appreciated on OCT Angiography, anti-VEGF treatment is indicated either as a monotherapy or in combination with half-fluence PDT.
