Eyes with serious damage to posterior segment require timely surgery. However, if concurrent injury to the cornea prevents proper visualization of the deeper structures, the surgeon are left with very few options to save vision. This talk will discuss the options and review certain surgical tricks to allow rapid reconstruction of the intraocular anatomy. Even in eyes with acute traumatic endophthalmitis, the graft has a less than 10% of rejection.
