ABSTRACT

Retinal artery obstruction (RAO) in the retina worlds has a common end: loss of vision according to artery caliber and systemic deseases to study. But inflamatory retinal artery obstruction does not belong to this universe of RAO. The artery obstruction does not reperfuse, therefore the risk of neovascularization is high, and complication described are vitreous hemorrage and retinal detachment. In this poster we show the development of all this events and they could not be stoped by laser extensive and repeated photocoagulation when we observe litlle red dot arising in the periphery (Picture III). Neovascularization, vitreous hemorrhage, tractional retinal detachment.
