Proper fixation of IOL is not only the must as far as visual outcome is concerned. Properly fixated IOL is necessary to establish stable condition for future tamponade when the vitrectomy is needed. There are several option available when secondary IOL is needed and there is lack of capsule. The IOL may be sutured to the sclera but prolene 10, 0 suture remains less stable during time . IOL may be fixated to the sclera but this requires additional time during surgery and additional skills. Iris-fixated IOL Artisan, fixated to the back of the iris, is time saving procedure. It also gives the good condition for future tamponade. During the presentation there will be two trauma cases shown both with luxated IOLs. In both cases iris-fixated IOL was used with good result.
