To treat an acute retinal detachment secondary to a keratoplasty and an iris-fixated IOL to restore the visual function.


OurĀ  surgical technique consists in: Scleral buckilng, residual cortex opacification extraction, vitrectomy, PFCL injection, drainage retinotomy, subretinal fluid aspiration, endophotocoagulation, PFCL extraction and fluid air exchange.

Effectiveness / Safety:

Retinal detachment is a bad situation. When it is associated with other ocular pathologies it might be worse. If the surgeon performs the operation step by step, this could simplify the way and improve the final prognosis.
