We present the case of successful surgical treatment of posterior intraocular ophthalmomyiasys in girl 7 years old. After a 20-gauge vitrectomy fly larva was fixed by aspiration cannula tightened to the sclerotomy and removed from the eye by micro forceps without breaking the outer shell. The result of treatment was relief of the inflammatory process, restoring of the transparency of vitreous and improving of vision. If ophthalmomyiasys is diagnosed it is necessary to perform an operation in short term to prevent complications associated with prolonged presence of larva in eye cavity.
