ABSTRACT

Purpose:

To highlight the management of uveal effusion syndrome in a case of posterior microphthalmos with recurrent subretinal fluid.

Method:

The video will describe the management in such cases by showing the course of a bilateral case of uveal effusion managed surgically.

Result:

Using scleral window may improve the anatomical outcome of such cases. However, the visual prognosis limited by the amblyopia and the condition of outer retinal anatomy.

Conclusion:

Uveal effusion secondary to posterior microphthalmos can be managed successfully by scleral window.
