SYNOPSIS

63-year old healthy man presents with a visual field defect and a ciliary body mass eroding through the iris. Ultrasonography showed a low reflective solid dome-shaped lesion suspicious for a melanoma. A diagnostic and therapeutic iridocyclectomy was performed. Histopathology revealed the lesion to be a leiomyoma.
