The Principality of Monaco, the second smallest (2 km2) and the most densely populated country in the world, is located on the French Riviera. This small state (full United Nation voting member) is governed by the House of Grimaldi since 1297 and now by Prince Albert II. Monaco’s mild climate, splendid scenery, and upscale gambling facilities have contributed to the principality’s status as a premier tourist destination and recreation center for the wealthy and famous (more than 30% of the population are millionaires).

One can consider that the term «glamour» has been created for Monaco, since the Prince Rainier married the American actress Grace Kelly, the symbol of elegance, beauty and charm. All the charities or sport meetings are opportunities for stars and wealthy people to be seen on their yachts or in the sumptuous hotels of the Principality.

The Monaco Formula One Grand Prix, held annually in the streets since 1929, is widely considered to be the most prestigious automobile race in the world. This is why we selected this event to be the central theme of our congress that will be opened by His Serene Highness the Prince Albert II.

The search for truth is difficult. Different attack angles can be needed when truth refuses to  expose. This is why we try to change every year the congress format. This year it will be completely different:

During the first day, on Sunday, the qualifying rounds are dedicated to experts presentations. These 20, 40 or 60 minutes talks must explain the reasons why the expert selects a protocol, a machine or a product. Due to the restricted number of accepted talks, experts must explain clearly, in the abstract submissions, the different arguments of their presentations. The more convincing abstracts will qualify the expect to become the coach of the respecting team defending the same ideas.

On Monday and Tuesday, eight competitions, regrouping teams of contributory lecturers defending the same concept by 5 minutes talks, will take place on the stage. Each team, directed by a coach will fight other teams having different points of view, the Moderator controlling the chronometer. The audience will decide, by interactive voting, which team is the most convincing. We could then have a closer lock to the truth for the benefit of our patients.

The 2016 EVRS Clinical Study is FLOATERS

You can submit your way of treatment, your strategy, your decision-making process in Floaters, whether it was a success or a failure. All presentations on this subject will be grouped together in a session and discussed along with the EVRS Floaters Study results. Every EVRS member is called upon to participate in this study. In doing so, you will not only participate in the largest study ever on Floaters but also learn a lot about the best strategy for this complicated condition.


Tables and chairs will be provided. Electric appliances will be of course supplied allowing you to plug in all your equipments. Special eqipment can be organized upon your request.

Exhibitors erecting their own displays are responsible for any costs. Exhibitors shall arrange their displays so they do not obstruct other exhibits. Aisles must be kept clear. It is forbidden to nail, tape or hang materials on any of the meeting room walls. All freestanding exhibition displays must be self-supporting and cannot utilize the Grimaldi Forum walls, ceilings or columns for support. Any damage to the Grimaldi Forum, external or internal, caused by exhibitor participation and display will be charged to the exhibitor.


All display materials and contents must conform in all respects to applicable safety, health and fire codes in addition to the rules of the Grimaldi Forum. All materials used within the display, for decoration, or any displayed products shall be flame retardant. No smoke devices may be used. Bio hazardous materials are prohibited. Safety and fire exits and stand-related equipment must be left accessible and in full view at all times. Any operational lasers must conform to appropriate safety precautions. No unshielded laser beam delivery is permitted anywhere within the display, and must be fully housed with wavelength absorbent materials.
The EVRSC reserves the right to prohibit or require the removal of any display, exhibit, parts of a display, or products that it deems not suitable, unsafe, not in accordance with these regulations, or not acceptable with professional ethics as determined by the EVRSC.


EVRSC will not provide an on-premises security guard during hours when the Exhibit Hall is closed. The EVRSC shall be held harmless for any loss, theft or damage of items. No security guards will be present during the day when the Exhibit Hall is open. Companies are responsible for their own exhibition space at all hours. Neither the EVRSC nor the Grimaldi Forum provide insurance for displays and equipment. Private insurance of displays and contents by exhibitors is encouraged.


The EVRSC reserves the right to rearrange the floor plan at any time. The EVRSC also reserves the right to relocate any exhibitors should it become necessary for causes beyond the control of the EVRSC or advisable in the best judgement of the EVRSC. The signing of the contract constitutes full agreement with these assignment policies and procedures.


The Grimaldi Forum takes no responsibility for loading, unloading and deposit of materials. You will be able to store all your materials at the Grimaldi Forum.


Installation of displays must take place on Saturday, June 04, 2016.
All exhibits must remain in place until Tuesday, June 07, 2016 until 04 pm.
All exhibits must be completely dismantled and removed on Tuesday, June 07, 2016 no later than 08 pm.
Any materials and displays not dismantled by 08:00 pm will be removed and discarded at the company’s expense.


All attending company representatives must register and display a name badge at all times during the meeting. Transfer of a name badge from one company representative to another is not allowed without prior authorization from EVRSC. The EVRSC shall have control over all admission policies. Badges will be used for entry into the Exhibit Hall and Scientific Sessions. There will be no refund on the exhibit fee to companies sending fewer than the number of allowed representatives. Company representative registration includes: Scientific Sessions, EVRS APP, Refreshment Breaks, Daily Lunches, Welcome Reception & Closing Dinner.
