EDITED FILM

ABSTRACT

Inverted flap of internal limiting membrane for treatment of poor prognosis macular holes.

In this video we describe the surgical technique of the inverted flap of internal limiting membrane.

The surgical technique includes a complete vitrectomy, realization of a flap of internal limiting membrane and fluid/gas exchange.

In this video we show 5 examples of macular holes surgery using this technique.

The realization of an inverted flap of internal limiting membrane seems to be effective and reproductive to increase the rate of success in the treatment of macular holes with a poor prognosis.
