Purpose:

To evaluate activity of the macula before and after sheathetomy.

Methods:

20 patients were operated on 2-3 months after incidence of BRVO. MfERG was performed 1 day before and 1 week, 3 months after the surgery. The results were compared.

Results:

Improvement of macular activity examined using mfERG were observed in every patient after the surgery.

Conclusion:

MfERG is an objective examination which help to better understand retinal activity after sheathetomy.
