Purpose:
To evaluate areas of reduced reflectivity of ellipsoid zone of photoreceptors in eyes with central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR).
Material & Methods:
En face OCT reflectivity maps on the level of ellipsoid zone were created in 16 eyes with active stage of the disease and after subretinal fluid absorption.
Results:
The topography of ellipsoid zone reflectivity reduction corresponded to the position of fluid during active phase of CSCR.
Conclusions:
En face OCT reflectivity maps are a valuable tool in detecting the areas of photoreceptor damage in eyes with CSCR.
