A fascinating case of a patient that underwent successful PVR surgery 13 years ago, that then emergently presents with a new complaint that “something is wrong.” The patient is found to have an unusual “subretinal foreign body” that apparently “appeared” in the macula, although was never before seen during prior postop exams. Amazing clinical photos and OCT’s will be shown, along with still photos of the intraoperative removal, and suspected etiology of the foreign body.
